Inspire 2 not tracking sleep stats at all

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Fitibit 2 recorded proper sleep stats for the first 2 nights,  but nothing except start and end time for the last 2 nights.  Any ideas?  This is one of my main reasons for buying a Fitbit!

@JSophieT A warm welcome to the Fitbit Community! Thank you for getting in touch about this.

I appreciate the details mentioned. If your Inspire 2 isn't tracking sleep information please make sure you're sleeping more than 3 hours which are required in order to show sleep stages. Also, double check that your band is snug on your wrist and try using it in the other wrist for one night, let me know the results.

@andrasie Hi there! Thank you for your advice.

@flo.ro A warm welcome to the Fitbit Community! Thank you for getting in touch about this.

I appreciate the detailed information shared. I would like you to double check that your Fitbit Inspire 2 is set to "On Wrist". This is because when your tracker is set to "On Clip" certain features are turned off including heart-rate tracking, automatic exercise tracking, Active Zone minutes and Water Lock.

To check this, press and hold the buttons on Inspire 2 and choose "On Wrist'" setting to ensure these features are turned on.

Let me know how the troubleshooting goes. I'll be around if you have any additional questions!

I experienced the same problem last night.  My Inspire2 has been tracking my sleep since I purchased it and it synced this morning, but no sleep tracking.  Everything you suggested checked how okay.  Any other suggestions?  Thank you.

@Bkmsc Welcome to the Fitbit Community. Thanks for the troubleshooting performed prior to posting.

I'd like you to let me know if your Inspire 2 didn't track any sleep at all or if it track only sleep patterns instead of sleep stages. If it didn't track sleep stages, check the out the possible scenarios that caused this, on this article

Hope this helps.

My Inspire 2 did not track at all.  It did track the next night.  I really think it may have been due to where the band was located on my wrist during the night.

Thank you so much for the link to the helpful information.  I really appreciate your rapid response.  I’ve been using this Fitbit since December and this was the only time I have had an issue.

I had this issue and just fixed it! Somehow I turned off the sleep tracker. Hold the sides of the Fitbit until it vibrates and scroll down to make sure the sleep tracker isn’t turned off.

I had the same problem. I tried everything for a week and finally gave up in frustration. Once I stopped turning the sleep tracker on every night it miraculously started to track my sleep all on its own. So try not turning on the tracker and see if that helps. I know it goes against logic but I've had mine since Christmas and its tracked my sleep every day since, all on its own.

So, Last night I was wide awake from 330 until 4AM the Inspire 2 didn’t track that. Is this normal? How can I trust that this device is actually telling me something or accurately collecting data if it doesn’t know when I’m awake or asleep?

My fitbit has stopped recording sleep and zone minutes. It's been working perfectly for a couple of years but now it's stopped
