Inspire 2 not tracking sleep

My inspire 2 is not picking up my sleep properly, not detecting when I was awake or restless etc. I’ve tried it on both hands and changed in setting which hand I’m using as well

How do I increase my readiness score

Best Answer

Are you using Apple IOS app?  Did the problem coincide with your app update that they released 1/26/22?  My nighttime details, sleep stages, HRV and breathing rate as well as daily readiness scores no longer work since 1/26/22.

Yeah I am and it only worked for the first couple nights but I’ll try updating it see if that changes anything

Mine was working UNTIL that update. I don’t recommend it. Now my sleep stages, HRV, nighttime breathing rate and readiness scores are broken too.

Awhh Okayy thank you I won’t do it I did used to click begin sleep now on my phone so I don’t know if that had anything to do with it so tonight I’m going to just fall asleep and see if it picks it up

Hi there, @SadieTweddle. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Inspire 2. Thanks for jumping in @MLB44.

Keep in mind that you must see sleep stages in order to see your sleep score information. Please swipe left on the Sleep Score graph, here you can see information about your weekly sleep average and sleep duration. To get more detailed information, see What's sleep score in the Fitbit app?

With that said, I recommend considering the following in order to get sleep stages:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device?
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

For more information, see What should I know about Fitbit sleep stages?

Hope this helps.

Thank you! I have read the manual and unfortunately these fixes did not apply and were not helpful in resolving my issue but hopefully will help someone else.
