So I had to delete the original "6 minute" workout and manually enter the 30 minute. The Fitbit was buzzing but I figured it was just the water lock message going off as it does constantly.
1) So am I going to have to look at my Fitbit during my whole workout to make sure it's tracking?
2) Puh-leese make Water Lock an option and not a permanent feature
3) I'd like to know how many people actually use the Water Lock.
4) I know the moderators are going to tell me to restart it. Am I going to lose all my settings if I do? If restarting my Inspire 2 every time it doesn't work (and I've had more than one incident) I'll just go back to my Charge 3 that was giving me thousands of steps at 4 o'clock in the morning.
I can tell other people are having problems, too. I just can't wait until another non-Fitbit tracker comes along so I can buy one.
Thanks, fitbit for raising my stress levels.

Hello @Bobba1
You can turn on Button Lock to prevent the buttons on your tracker from activating while your screen is off. This can be very useful while exercising to avoid accidentally touching the side sensors. To turn Button Lock on or off tap the setting > tap to confirm. You can use this setting to avoid unintended button presses while you exercise, especially if you wear Inspire 2 lower on your wrist or you tighten the band to be extra snug.
You can view this YouTube video to give you step by steps instructions as well as an explanation of its usefulness here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=o3nmWmEB1jY
😃Please let me know if this is something that will work for you and give you an answer to your issue of that pesky water lock accidentally coming on. You can simply disable button lock when your done exercises if you like.
By the way….you asked if restarting your Fitbit will alter your settings…it shouldn’t. 😉
