Watch records proper units but your dashboard charts change it to a kilometer unit and that ruins the calculated results! It is using the kilometer number to calculate for miles. Today, I walked .48 miles. Dashboard displays it as .71 KM and then uses the .71 to calculate for miles units.
You finally corrected the pace calculation - congrats. Now fix your updated dashboard.

@jt2022 , A warm welcome to the Community! Thank you for your message.
Just to confirm.
The units are changed on the online Dashboard (fitbit.com) or on the Dashboard in the Fitbit app?
Have you already read this? How do I change the units of measurement in my Fitbit account?

Not changing my units. The units in my account are/were correct (feet-inches) - English, not metric. They confuse miles for kilometers on the online Dashboard! It is a 37.86% error! Not very impressive.
That is why my phone app gives me correct numbers, and your dashboard is useless.
Please do not make the phone app worse. It works except that the programmer does not understand what an average is. It can not be lower than the LOW Pace. I can live with that.
