Inspire 2 says download the mobile app

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

It has changed to saying download the fitbit mobile app and the date of 25/12/2022 which is the date it was set up.

Cannot get it off the watch press and hold the side and I get smile face and back to the same error message.

I've uninstalled the app, turned off Bluetooth, restarted phone but cannot get it to work

Can't restart the fitbit as can't get passed the download app message.

Any help please?

Thank you!

Hi there @Leanneuk! Welcome to the Fitbit Community!

Thank you for sharing with us the situation you're having with your Inspire 2 and for your efforts.

I suggest you try this:

  • Remove all other Fitbit devices from your Fitbit account.
  • Remove your Fitbit device from the list of connected Bluetooth devices on your phone or tablet:
    • On your phone, tap Settings > Bluetooth.
    • Tap the information icon or gear icon next to the name of your Fitbit device.
    • Find the option to forget the device.
  • Uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app. Note: Before you uninstall the app, verify that your phone is running a supported version of Android OS. If your phone is on an older version, you won’t be able to reinstall the app. For OS requirements, see Fitbit-compatible devices.
