On my Inspire 2 I cannot read it outside. Dim is OFF. What can I do? I have to wear a watch to tell the time, very annoying

Hi there, @Chrisseward47. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Inspire 2.
Please restart your Inspire 2 as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? If the restart doesn't work, please follow @SunsetRunner's suggestion and try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.
If none of the above works, please check if by any chance your Inspire 2 is in sleep mode. When the sleep mode setting is on:

Hi @Chrisseward47 .
It affects everyone. Try choosing a clock face that is brighter. I use Performance.

I have had the same issue. It seems as though the only answer from Fitbit after a morning on the phone was... sorry. The Inspire 2 clearly has issues. You are not alone. Unless Fitbit provides me with a nonfaulty device I will never buy another Fitbit product again. Fitbit's answer to make me "happy" was 35% off which is pretty terrible given they sold me a product that has a pretty clear issue that affects so many of it's customers.
