After my workout, the Fitbit app willl show me that I have earned more zone minutes than the duration of my workout. For example, after completing a 30 minute workout, it will show me that I have earned 60 zone minutes. I am certain that these are not zone minutes earned at a different time of day, as they are added at the time that I complete my workout. Let me know how I can fix this! Thanks!

It's nice to see you in the Fitbit Community @mmaniar.
Thanks for sharing the details about Active zone minutes in your Inspire 2.
You earn 2 Active Zone Minutes for each minute you’re in the cardio or peak zones. For more intense workouts, such as spinning, interval training, or running, the number of Active Zone Minutes you earn might exceed the length of your workout. For example, if you run for a total of 20 minutes and spend 10 minutes in the fat burn zone and 10 minutes in the cardio or peak zones, you earn 30 Active Zone Minutes.
The stat for Active Zone minutes can be seen on the Today tile on the Fitbit App, also in the Today Tile on your track itself. Swipe up from the clock face and you will get a full summary of your day.
