It’s not the cable it’s the inspire 2! So I had to buy another one and before two years it happened again! I’m done with the Fitbit. To bad I really liked how easy it was to use but I can’t buy a new one every two years,

From my experience, it is a physical issue with the connection between the charging cord and the inspire 2. I've been able to clean the contacts and use an elastic type strap and get it to charge about 80% of the time. In my opinion, it's a design flaw as I count the number of times I've a similar post. I have not given up on fitbit, just this particular model.

I've had the same problem. I will no longer purchase a FitBit device.
