Inspire 2 stopped working after getting wet

My Fitbit inspire 2 was acting odd after I got out of the pool- the screen was flickering, and the touch screen would start and stop working. Then, the touch sensors stopped vibrating to touch, and eventually the device appeared to be dead- no vibration, screen blank, and the light sensor off. the next day I was'nt able to go home- so I kept it in a small cup of rice nearly all day. When I did get home and plugged it in to the charging port, now the touch sensors vibrate in response to touch, and the light sensor on the back is certainly working- but the screen only flickered for a bit before going completely dead. I've now put it back in a cup of rice, but should I just give up? I've tried rebooting it by holding the touch sensors, but they simply vibrated once and that was all- the screen remained blank. Please help. (mind you, my phone stopped working out of nowhere hours before we got to the waterpark. In other words, I'm very upset, and some solutions are not available to me. )

Hi there, @hyoseph. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Inspire 2 is still unresponsive. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

Since you already tried all the steps we could've provided here in the forums
, you have an Inspire 2 and report experiencing an unresponsive Fitbit device, I need additional information from you that would best be shared privately. I’m sharing a link to a form for you to fill out so we can look into this further.
