Inspire 2 stops counting steps as it reaches my target goal

My Inspire 2 stops counting steps as it reaches my target goal. My target goal is 10,600 steps. When I reach about 10,580 steps it stops counting. I  can walk another 200 to 300 steps and it will not count those steps. After several minutes it will finally start counting steps again and go past my target. Very Frustrating. Has anyone else noticed this with their Inspire 2?

This has happened to me as well, only it stops short of my goal by like 10 steps. The other night I was trying to get those last steps in by midnight, just walking around fast in my house and it never counted them, and the following morning had over 2,000 steps logged, obviously from the previous night. I even try putting the fitbit on my charger for a few minutes to give it a kick but that night no luck. I have the inspire HR.

Used to be that the FitBit folks used to read these posts and offer help. I guess FitBit has gotten to big to care about their loyal customers. Shame
