After only a week in use, my inspire 2 pinch feature has stopped working. It seems to be still recording activity as seen on the app on my iphone.. it will sometimes display the time or water lock message when i rotate my wrist, but does not respond to swiping action.

Hi there, @Fitmarsha. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the inconvenience with your Inspire 2.
It seems that your Inspire 2 is stuck on water lock. With that being said, please firmly double-tap the middle of the screen with your finger. If you don't see "Unlocked" appear on screen, try tapping harder. Turning off this feature uses the accelerometer in your device, which takes more force to activate.

This does not seem to work. I like everything about this EXCEPT the Water lock/water unlock feature. I just would like to turn it off period. I also feel like it uses up the battery with this constant lock/unlock situation. Irritating!

That worked to clear the water lock (I still don't know why it did that).
However, now it won't scroll so I can get to the exercises or settings screens. Any thoughts?

I spoke with some at Fitbit yesterday. He told me that you cannot "turn off" that feature. Apparently, according to the agent, that water lock feature is particular to the Inspire2 because many use it for swimming, showering, etc. I wish they would have made that very clear when I was researching Fitbits. This is my 4th one and I just want to take a hammer to it!

I would add that you do 2 hard taps in the middle to display the LOCKED status then do Two more hard taps to UNLOCK. Worked for me for Inspire 2

Hello, a way to turn off water lock is to change the clock, and change it back when the Fitbit is not in water lock.

Makes no difference as the screen won't react with waterlock on. HOW DO I TURN THE WATERLOCK OFF?
