Inspire 2 stuck on message "To start download the Fitbit app"

I bought an Inspire 2 and right after I took it out from the box it doesn’t want to turn on. I tried in every way, pressed on the sides 10 seconds while in charge, waited to charge completely. The only thing that appears on the screen is DOWNLOAD THE APP. I downloaded both on iPhone and iPad but the Fitbit is absolutely dead.
is there any way to turn it on or do I need to send I back?

thanks

Hi there, @andersvuopio. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Inspire 2 before reaching out.

As per the message on the Fitbit device's screen, it seems that your Inspire 2 is asking you to pair it properly. With that being said, I'd suggest doing the following:

  • Check if by any chance your phone's Bluetooth shows the Inspire 2 as a connected device. If so, please unpair/remove it.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth.
  • Setup your Inspire 2 again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Inspire 2.

If you can't get started with your Inspire 2, usually a missing requirement is the cause. Carefully review the requirements provided in the help article Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?
