Inspire 2 stuck on "To start download the Fitbit app" message

Update: chatted with tech support and was able to set it up by restoring inspire 2 to factory setting. 

 

I got Inspire 2 around Aug 2022 as a backup while waiting for my defected charge 5 being replaced. I am currently having battery issue with charge 5, so I decided to switch back to Inspire 2 for the time being. Tried to pair Inspire 2 with iphone (updated to the latest iOS and also updated to latest fitbit app before pairing Inspire 2), but it won't get pass download the mobile app, which i already have (otherwise, how can I get setup the fitbit without the mobile app). I searched the forum and followed the instruction of unpairing insprie 2, turning off bluetooth, restarting phone and restarting inspire 2. nothing works. Help.

I got the same problem. But after sticking on "Start to download the Fitbit app" for about 10 minutes it suddenly successfully connect to my smartphone. If you don't want to do a factory reset, you can wait more time. However, I still lost my data since the last sync.
