Inspire 2 stuck on "nothing new here"

My Inspire 2 just got set up and when I checked my first notification and hit "clear", it brought up a "nothing new here" message and now it won't let me get out of that screen. I've tried holding it for a few seconds, swiping, tapping, and nothing works to move it back to home. Can anyone help with this?

Hi there, @slquinn1980. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Inspire 2 before posting here. 

To better assist you, please make sure you've restarted your Fitbit device as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device?. If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.
