Sometimes never, but always "sit tight" for 5 or more minutes..

Moderator edit: clarified subject.

@PerryLowell , Nice to see you here. Thank you for your feedback.

Have you tried the steps here to see if you can improve the time during the sync.

Keep in mind, that the syncing is dependable of your internet connection, and how far back your last sync was. It'll take you longer if you sync the Inspire 2 every 2nd/3rd day as if you sync at least 1-2 a day.
Also make sure that you don't have anything else connected to your phone via bluetooth.
You can also try turning your phone on/off.

I synch at least once a day.  My network is a 5G.  It's the only bluetooth device connected, and I've turned BT off and back on prior to synching.

It just tells me to sit tight and once I get that message it never finishes that synch - even if the synch worrked an hour prior.

It's very weird.

@PerryLowell , Thank you for your reply!
Please on your phone go to settings> Apps> Fitbit App and clear the Cache.
Restart your phone  (off/on)
In the meantime, please restart the Inspire 2.
When the phone is on again, open the Fitbit app.
Try to sync the Inspire 2 with the app .

Thanks, I'll give that a try.

Nope, no joy.

The "fix it" advice doesn't fix it, either.

@PerryLowell , Thank you for getting back to me and for the pictures shared.

Please sync your Inspire 2, even if it takes 5 minutes, so that no data gets lost.
Please follow these steps as a 1 time exception.

On Inspire 2, open the Settings app Clear User Data.
When prompted, press the screen for 3 seconds, then release. When Inspire 2 vibrates and you see the clock screen, your data is erased.

  • Please on a your mobile device, go to Settings>Bluetooth, and remove all connections that exist with the tracker. (Forget, ignore or unpair device depending on the phone OS version)
  • Turn off Bluetooth and restart your phone. (switch off and on again).
  • When the phone is back on, turn on the Bluetooth again, but DO NOT attempt to connect to the tracker from here.
  • Go on the app. From here, try setting up the tracker as a new device.

Record the steps or any activity and try to sync afterwards.
