Inspire 2 what does it mean when HR heart icon is white instead outlined

From time to time my HR heart icon is filled white instead outlined for some seconds. This seems to have no relation to the heart rate itself since this happens in high and low heart rates

Thank you for taking the time to share the details regarding this situation with your Inspire 2.

Have you tried to perform a restart in order to see if the device manages to get normal behavior? Please, follow the steps listed here to restart the device. 

In addition, I'd recommend you check if there is any pending update on the device: see How do I update my Fitbit device?
