Inspire 2 won't alert me for any notification

My Fitbit Inspire 2 won't notify me of any notifications. No vibration at all for calls, texts or the setting to remind me to move hourly. Nothing shows up for those on the Inspire 2 either. I have a Samsung S10. I've checked all the settings I know to check. What am I missing?

As per the description of your post, it seems like your Inspire 2 might be in sleep mode or DND. For more information, see Why didn't my Fitbit device alert me?

As far as I can tell the sleep mode is not on. I use the alarm most mornings and it works. When I turn my wrist should the clock time appear? It only shows the time if I touch the sides. I’ve read the instructions from the link you sent and I think DND is off because the line is not illuminated but I can’t figure out how to turn it on to see the difference. I tap above DND and it does nothing. I’m so frustrated with this Inspire 2!

@Donfab Thanks for the details provided. I understand why you're feeing frustrated. 

When you turn off the setting,(either it may be sleep mode or DND) the icon appears dim with a line through it.

When the do not disturb setting is on:

• Notifications, goal celebrations, and reminders are muted.
• The do not disturb icon illuminates in quick settings.
  
  

When the sleep mode setting is on:

• Notifications and reminders are muted.
• The screen's brightness is set to dim.
• The screen stays dark when you turn your wrist.

You can't turn on do not disturb and sleep mode at the same time. For more information, see How do I navigate my Fitbit device?

DND and Sleep are both turned off and I'm still not able to get notifications. Is there anything else I can try?
