I've had this fitbit less than a week, and have been swimming with it 3 times. Every time I tell it I'm swimming it goes into waterlock - great - but when I stop swimming I can never get it OUT of water lock. The screen won't even show up. AND it never sends the workout to the dashboard so I can see it - it's like it just disappears and I end up having to log it manually anyway. What is the point of having swim as an exercise to track if it won't track it. Because I swim is the ONLY reason I got this one.....help - I'd really like it to work properly - how do I get it to record the exercise, and how do I get it to come back from water lock?

I tried tapping and double tapping to no avail. I finally put it on the charger for a little bit, took it off, and then the double tap worked.

I was just chatting with online help for over 90 minutes about this with no resolution. I also tried rebooting and deleting and reinstalling to no avail. I have been a Fitbit user for years and have never had issues like this and I have only had it 1 day! I am returning it.

You are a genius! I've had constant problem with this since I've gotten the thing. Works soooo much better than changing the clock face!!!

I have the same problem with the water lock. I've tapped the screen twice and it is frozen. It does nothing.

The only way I can get out of water lock is to use the app to change the watch face screen. When it sends the update, it lets me back in.

This reply of yours seems to miss the product users point…. I think we understand what the feature does, but we are reporting that the PRODUCT is FAULTY! mine also gets stuck in water lock… i have the same issue even putting it into water lock mode, a simple fix IF fitbit would actually listen to us users would be to add a feature to the app allowing us to put our Inspire 2’s in and out of water lock mode

I had the same problem but for me it works as long as the screen is facing upwards. Double tapping doesn’t work if the screen is facing any direction but up for me. Hope this helps
