Inspire 2 won’t scroll up or down

My Inspire 2 only will show the clock face, won’t scroll up or down, and when the sides are pressed it will only go to water locked. It will not switch off or reboot. Hold the sides for 5 seconds and nothing happens.

It syncs to the app with all the usual data but just the Inspire just not work.

Hi, welcome to the Fitbit Community forums, @jbw149.

Thank you for all the details that you've shared about this inconvenience with your Inspire 2 device and for confirming that you already tried the restart procedure

This sounds like the Water Lock could be activated on your device. Could you please double check if this feature is turned off? If you're seeing the message on the screen about Water Lock constantly, please try to firmly double-tap the middle of the screen with your finger to unlock the display.

If you don't see "Unlocked" appear on screen, try tapping harder.

Turning off this feature uses the accelerometer in your device, which takes more force to activate. Note that water lock turns on automatically when you start a swim in the Exercise app.

I'll be around.

Hi,
Tried that, nearly broke my finger banging it. Still not working.
Clock screen only then after touching sides a couple of times it goes to water lock.
No matter how hard you tap it wont change.

@DeborrahC Thank you for sharing that you've been having the same problem.

Just to confirm, were you able to get the device out of water lock? Keep in mind that although you need to double tap firmly on the middle of the screen to get out of the water lock, you shouldn't need to tap the device with too much strength.

If you continue to have the same issue with this feature, please get in touch with the Customer Support team so they can provide you with the next steps. You can click here to get connected.

Thanks again for sharing all your comments and feedback about this.
