I have had so many sync issues with my Inspire 2 - I am about ready to go to another fitness watch. The folks at Fitbit write AWFUL SOFTWARE ... sync does not work most of the time - Bluetooth support sucks ... in addition to changing the band types each time ... does anyone want to buy bands for inspire 1 or another model -- I probably have them ...
So now after fighting with the Fitbit - I decided to reinitialize the Fitbit to my iPhone - big mistake ... it has been doing the "gathering data" phase for 2 days now ...
Sorry Fitbit - you suck - time for a new solution ...

Hi there, @architect-scott. Thanks for stopping by in the Community Forums and trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Inspire 2 before posting here. I understand where your concern is coming from and how you must be feeling.
In addition to the steps you've done so far, I suggest you trying the following in the order listed below:
If you can't get started with your Inspire 2, usually a missing requirement is the cause. Carefully review the requirements provided in the help article Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?
Hope that helps.

Thanks Marre -- the issue is software quality unfortunately -- I basically had to reinitialize the Fitbit -- between ongoing sync issues (like many many others) and lack of compatibility with bands (I have 4 different types of bands - one for each inspire/Fitbit model I have) -- I am likely going elsewhere -- a fitness watch should just work ... and the Fitbit fails in this regard -- but thanks for the response
