Hi @GAYLEO as of October 13, 2022 the app for the computers will no longer work. You'd need a compatible tablet or phone.

So.... You're telling me that the Fitbit I purchased that contained NO WARNING alluding to a fundamental process (syncing)
Could become severely restricted to a single type of electronic device (smartphone) and will become useless unless I make an additional
purchase of that electronic device ? Are you kidding? Smartphones are very common but so are laptop computers and
most certainly not everyone owing a Fitbit watch or monitor has or wishes to purchase a smartphone in order to use
a Fitbit device !!!! REALLY ??????

@GAYLEO  not sure when you got your Inspire 2, but so many people seem to be going with all mobile devices. I have a desktop Windows 11 computer but sync with my mobile phone.

That's fine for you and others. It's not for me!!. I am being forced to purchase an electronic device in order to sync. my Fitbit.
Good luck to Fitbit. There are other monitoring devices on the market which do not have this ludicrous restriction !!
Needless to say, I'm moving om from them and of course, would never, ever recommend them !!! I just love Facebook and blogging !!

@GAYLEO   I understand your frustration, but it is written on the box that it requires a compatible iPhone or Android device.  You don't need a smartphone.  You can use a wi-fi only tablet with a home wireless network.

I do have an android tablet and my fitbit stopped synching with it a week ago.  I've looked at all the help suggestions. I've done them all, several times. It seems others have the same problem. I try not to be too dependent on electronics, but this was something I was enjoying and it's frustrating that fitbit doesn't really seem to care. 🙁

Hello @wmichellen and welcome to the Community.  I looked at your profile and saw that you posted a similar comment in another thread in this forum.  I think you might get more help by posting a new thread in the Android forum.  You are describing an Android issue, not a device issue.  Your issue also isn't related to laptop syncing.  In your post please include the brand of tablet you use, the Android OS on the tablet, and the Fitbit app version you use.  You can find the Fitbit app version by tapping on your profile avatar, then Help & Support.  As an iPhone user, I can't help you with your Android problem.  I hope another Android user can help you.

I've tried the Fitbit screen on my android phone that was just given to me since I had no smart phone. MUCH harder to use and understand. I'm moving on to a different device. One that will sync with my Apple laptop.
