I have the same problem. My phone is on the latest Android version. I've uninstalled and reinstall the fitbit app but nothing changed.

Hi @janina.adamova and @Roro31. Welcome to the Fitbit Community!

Thanks for the details regarding your difficulty to sync your Inspire 2 and the steps tried. I understand how important is that for you.

Could you please confirm if you already tried all the steps listed here to resolve syncing problems? Also, please make sure to check if the mobile device you're using is listed here as a compatible device to sync with the Fitbit app.

Thanks @NellyG for your help and participating in the community too.

Hello @ManuFitbit ,

Yes I've tried the listed steps and my phone should work fine (galaxy s20 up to date).

Pairing fails after entering the 4 digits number of the watch on the app.

Regards

@SunsetRunner @Roro31 thanks for your reply.

I appreciate all the information that you've shared about the difficulty you're experiencing with your Inspire 2.

If you haven't done so already, please try the following steps that have been useful for other users:

  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn Bluetooth off and on.
  • Open the Fitbit app and sync again.

In addition, I recommend that you try restarting the device following these steps. Then, try to set up your device again.

I've done that several times over, still going around in circles telling me I need to switch my Bluetooth on when it already is. If I delete my account wait for seven days .Will I be able to use my e-mail again ? I would give that a go...

Having the same issues and same error message as Kimo777. Have been trying to connect my new Inspire2 device to my phone since yesterday. Tried everything I could find on the internet: turning bluetooth on and off, rebooting the phone, rebooting the device, changing all kinds of settings on my phone (turn off battery saver, turn on location, allow to run in background) and everyting else required. I have Android 13 (which is well over the required 9) on a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, so compatibility should be OK. The phone finds the device (proof that bluetooth is on), the device wakes up and gives 4 numbers that I enter into the phone, but after that I get the message that I need to "turn on bluetooth to update the tracker". I researched and updating the tracker can only be done through the phone! Must have tried 30 times in 30 different ways. Going around in circles here. Can the device be updated by you centrally?

I have the same issue again. I've tried everything but it won't sync. How can I get a refund for this? I've paid you for Inspire 2, paid for Fitbit Premium and this does not work. So now I want my money back.
