No matter what I do or who I ask for help, we cannot track my heartbeat nor sleep. The old Fitbit was able to do this.

Hello @SSmithHall ,

Few other people in the forum experienced the same issue. The reason for all the cases I'mn aware of was the inadvertently activation of the on clip mode.

To verify if this is the case for you too do a long press of the side buttons so you enter the quick settings menu. Scroll down and check the status of on clip / on wrist and activate the latter.

Let us know.

@SSmithHall Welcome to our Fitbit Community. I totally understand how you feel about the sleep and heart rate tracking issues that your Inspire 2 has experienced.

I'd like you to try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. Also, I'd like to share this help page, which explains how your Fitbit device tracks your sleep.

Finally, monitor your Inspire 2 and see if it provides and tracks your heart rate and sleep data properly.

Hope this helps.

Yeo I get no sleep measurements.  I've rebooted so many times its ridiculous. Tried my other wrist. Set it to sensitive. Nothing works. I might as well have just purchased a pedometer.

Hi

It worked fir one night and stopped again. So there us clearly an issue at Fitbit end thst needs resolving.  I have previously contacted Customer support and done all the things that have been suggested but it doesn't resolve the ongoing issue. Others are having the same problem so it is obviously a wider fitbit issue. To keep referring to helpbor Customer Services is all well and good but Customers shouldn't have to do this several times a week. Some sort of software update to fix this problem needs to be issued by fitbit development team as Customers are paying for something they are not getting

I’m having same issues.  My inspire 2 is only a month old and it has stopped keeping sleep scores or giving only partial (3 or 4 hours) of sleep scores   Also no longer showing stress mgmt score.  It does track steps. I looked it’s not on clip, I restarted Fitbit and battery level is high.  Ugh.  So frustrating... help.

I know it ridiculous yet all you get is follow the steps in help rather than the moderator or fitbit reading that we have done that and we are all still having issues.  Whilst that does apply to some the majority of us have done everything and that is not being addressed.  What's the point if buying a fitness device that doesn't do what it should. The clue is in the title FITBIT. not a non working fitbit. FITBIT development please resolve this widecspread issue people have paid good money for the device and also the Premium Service. Make us feel like we're getting a premium device and service and not just another accessory

Totally agree.... FitBit needs to provide their customers with a REAL fix as moderator comments are clearly not the answer!

Is there a situation where this could have been triggered by some other variable like plugging it in to charge or anything other than inadvertently which is code for the user didn't realize that they were setting it themselves.? Hope its not complacency due to the fact that alot of People aren't technologically saavy or take it upon themselves to get to know their technological purchases and everything it can do.
