Inspire 2 won't track my sleep data accurately

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

For the last week, my Fitbit has been tracking my sleep irregularly. For example, I went to bed at 9:30, woke at 5am but the data shows only 12:30 am to 5am. Another time, it looked like I slept from 9:30 to 11pm, then a gap of time, and asleep again at 1 am . Any suggestions on what to check?

Hi there, @ctalaman. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Inspire 2.

Please keep in mind that your time asleep is calculated by subtracting your time spent awake and restless from your overall tracked sleep time. For example, if you slept 8 hours but woke up 2 times for 15 minutes each, your time asleep would be 7 hr 30 min. For more information, see What should I know about Fitbit sleep stages?

I've moved your post to the Inspire 2 board for organization purposes.

Hope that helps.

I am having the same issue. I realize it subtracts awake time. However,  what's the use if it's based on an inaccurate measurement. I'm pretty sure I am sleeping more than 2-3 hours, even if it's not great quality.  Frustrating considering my Inspire 2 is only a little over a week old.

I've noticed irregularities like this too.  It seems to be since this last infamous update.  Unfortunately I do not have an answer.....

Since the last update my i

Inspire 2 has not tracked my sleep at all. All I get is “no data”.

My device is only a few weeks old and it was working so I know it was set up correctly. How do I fix this?

Hi....I'm not an expert but you may want to reset it. Sometimes just restarting your phone can clear a glitch.  This update has caused so many issues.

I am having similar issues as well. My Inspire2 worked perfectly and now it will not track my sleep at all. I have gone through all of the trouble shooting tips. I’ve reset, rebooted, everything that was suggested. Nothing works. It has simply stopped tracking everything except my steps. I see I’m not the only one having this issue. Is something going with the Inspire2?

Personally I think its the recent update.  I wish there was somehow a way to go back.

Since the 8/18 update, my app has broken up my sleep hours as well, and I have a Charge 4. On home page it says 'wear your Fitbit to bed' (which I do) but if I click on it, it shows info based on SOME of the time asleep.

Also, health metrics are not tracking and loading correctly, probably because the app is not registering sleep times or patterns correctly...
