Inspire 2 won't turn on, now hot to touch

2 days ago the screen stopped showing. I went thru all the steps, charging holding buttons, taking it off the charger, holding the buttons. Changing clock face, tapping it all over. Then yesterday it just stopped vibrating too. Now after I plugged it in to try again, it got hot.  It isn't syncing to my phone at all.  It also has no green flashing lights.  Totally dead? Please help

I'm having the same issue.  I plugged it in to charge and the screen is completely black and it got so hot that I took it off the charger.  Hoping someone can help us with this.... Mine is only a year old.

I’m having the same problem, screen has gone blank, Bluetooth still sees it when I removed it and added it again, but I can’t see anything. Hot when it’s on charge. I’ve tried resetting it and got the smiling face, but still nothing.

Hi, @CoachBuzz any device that becomes abnormally hot when plugged in is a potential fire hazard.  If your Fitbit is hot to the touch while charging I would recommend disconnecting it and getting in touch with Fitbit Customer Support on Contact.Fitbit.com

I am sorry not to have a better solution for you.  Welcome to the forums!
