My inspire 2 has a black screen, will not charge, will not respond to anything I have tried. I read through the other posts concerning this and NOTHING worked they suggested doing. I tried it all. It seems to me that there is a possible defect on Fibit's end because of so many people having this problem

In addition to the steps you've done, have you tried cleaning the contacts on the back of your Inspire 2? If you haven't done so yet, please see How do I clean my Fitbit device?
