Will not turn on, even after I charged it. Held the buttons for 10sec, and another 10sec....nothing, no screen, vibration, nothing!!!

Hello there, @Kb1228. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Inspire 2 and trying to troubleshoot it before reaching out.

In addition to the steps you've done, have you tried cleaning the contacts on the back of your Inspire 2? If you haven't done so yet, please see How do I clean my Fitbit device?

Additionally, please try the following:

  • If the error "insufficient power source" appears on your device's screen, remove other devices plugged in to your power source, or plug your device in to another source.
  • Try a different USB port or a UL-certified wall charger.
  • Check the alignment and try reconnecting your device to the charging cable. For more information, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  • Restart your Fitbit once again. For more information, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?

Hello, I am having the same problem - nothing works. I have cleaned the charger and the fitbit, tried all different USB ports - both in laptops and in the wall. It will no longer turn on - completely dead - and nothing works to charge it. Help!!

I can't get the device to reboot because I can't find the Reboot device in the settings.

I'ts good to see you participating for the first time in the community @bekkabare3.

Thank you for sharing the experience with your Inspire 2.

I've been informed that you already contacted the Customer Support team for further assistance with this. In this case, they will let you know how to proceed.

Welcome back to the community @stlcardsfan.

Thank you for sharing the inquiry regarding rebooting your device.

If your Inspire 2 is unresponsive:

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Connect your device to the charging cable. For instructions, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  3. Press and hold the buttons on your tracker for 10 seconds.
  4. Release the buttons. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.

"Customer Support" was thoroughly useless. Didn't give me any information or technical help at all, and basically just told me since my Fitbit is out of warranty, there's nothing they can do. The Fitbit doesn't charge, regardless of where or how I plug it in. Therefore, I can't reboot it because the battery is completely dead.

I'm all good, I don't need any more help with my fitbit. But thank you so
much. You can remove me from the page. Thank you again.
