Inspire 2 won't vibrate for text notifications

I have tried EVERY suggested fix to get my Inspire 2 to vibrate for text messages.  Phone calls actually work and the tracker vibrates but NOT for texts.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S21+ 5G.

I have unpaired, restarted, logged out, cleared the cache, checked EVERY single setting that I can find on this forum, made sure DND and Sleep mode are off, and dozens of other fixes.  No luck!  I'm at my wit's end.  HELP!

@Carrie2022 Awesome! I'm glad to hear that your Inspire 2 is now vibrating.

As for the text, please note that you can choose 1 app per category. The most common apps for these features are:

  • Calls—Dialer
  • Text messages—Messages
  • Calendar events—Calendar
  • Emails—Gmail

However, for "Text Messages" section you can only select your primary text messaging app (that can be WhatsApp, your phone's default Message app or any other). Nevertheless, in "App Notifications" section you can select more apps, for example if you decided that for your primary text messaging app you want it to be WhatsApp, in App Notifications you can enable Messages app.

Hope this helps.

I know! ME TOO! My Flex 2 died (I loved the simplicity of it) so I bought the Inspire 2 yesterday. I have tried everythingyou have tried and I can't get it to vibrate for ANYTHING. I've set alarms and it doesn't NOTHING. I am thinking about returning it for something else. Very disappointing thus far.

I now am getting the vibrate to work for an alarm and phone calls but not texts. I think the text app for my phone isn't available on the fitbit app....the one my phone uses isn't an option in the fitbit app...weird since I have a NEW phone and it's a samsung app
