Inspire HR 001 Error, Now Won't Display Anything

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi everyone, first time poster here. My beloved Fitbit HR Showed a 001 error when I charged it from a flat battery earlier, now it won't show anything. It still shows the green HR sensor on the back but there's no display and it doesn't vibrate when I plug it into the charger. It shows as an available bluetooth device on peoples phones too so it's not like it's totally dead. Can anyone help me?!

Hi @MTFB  this is a copy of what a Fitbit Moderator suggested to another person with the same 001 error. If this helps, let us know.

"Please restart your tracker and if this process doesn't work, perform a long restart by doing the following:

  • Plug the device into the charging cable.
  • While the device is plugged into the charging cable, hold the button down for 15 seconds.
  • Remove your finger from button. Note: Device won't have a smiley face icon and should be off with a black screen.
  • Remove the device from the charging cable.
  • Plug the device into the charging cable again.
  • The smiley face icon appears on the screen."

I tried what you suggested but I still have a black screen. It's charging and syncing according to my phone app.
