Inspire HR Bracelet

I’m using Alta HR and Charge 3, currently bought an Inspire HR for fun.

Both Alta and Charge are produced with top quality. However, Inspire HR really disappointed me.

Fairly speaking, Inspire is sort of value for performance model. However, the matt finishing is wearing off way too fast. I have been using it at home for sleep only, within 2 weeks time, the matt coating of the buckle is gradually wearing off. The main unit is slightly better, but the also coating starts wearing off too.

Very regretted ... ...

Currently I’m out of town and I’m travelling with my Charge 3.

I’ll try to take some photos later on.

Just wonder... are you using the white bracelet? Coz I’m using the black one, the bracelet is all good except the edge of the buckle, the matt coating starts wearing off after a few days.

Actually, those black matt coating on plastic always ends up with disaster.

Same thing here. After just one day the soft touch finish has started to wear off. Now my black bracelet is shiny instead of matt.

The reply from was that "As much as we want to cater to your concerns, we have a policy to follow. Since the issue falls out of the warranty coverage, we're unable to provide a replacement band".

I'm not buying a replacement band from Fitbit as they suggested.

I know exactly what “shiny” means.

A replacement bracelet won’t help too much, it is a matter of poor product R&D.

After the matt coating wear off, the bracelet will become “sticky”.

Alta HR and Charge 3 are excellent, Inspire failed.

Hi @ジャック  I have the lilac Inspire HR and so far have seen no problem with the colour rubbing at all.

The bracelet is still good, however, the matte coating at the edge of the buckle wears off after a few days.

If I didn’t buy Alta HR and Charge 3, I have no comparison, they are all good after 3 months including the buckle (I mean the plastic buckle).

Not the case for Inspire ... ... should I expect this because it is a half priced product?

My buckle is still matte as well.

@ジャック   Ahh I understand what you are saying now I see it in the picture. It is not the buckle - Im not sure what you call that piece - I call it the band keeper, but no idea if that is the correct name. Yes I can see the difference on yours, but my lilac one looks fine. Im actually quite impressed with the lilac because it is not getting dirty looking at all and I have been wearing it constantly. I always had trouble with lighter Alta bands discolouring badly.  I guess it is classed as wear and tear and wouldnt be covered by warranty.

Fully accept “wear and tear” if I have been using it for months but not for days ...

Almost one month night time ONLY wear, the "band keeper" becomes more and more "sticky" as the coating wear-off more.

The bracelet of Inspire HR is completely failure!!

In order to make this a fair comment, my Alta HR and Charge 3 are all good.

I bought another two Charge 3 for my son and my wife respectively.

Super regret for buying Inspire HR.

3 months only!

The band holder of my Inspire HR becomes completely sticky!

While my Charge 3 bracelet is still in MINT condition, this is my daily watch.

Spend slightly more and go for a Charge 3.
