Inspire HR--Can't set clock faces, alarm, etc.

Hi all! I bought my first Fitbit on Wednesday--an Inspire HR. I downloaded the app and synced my Fitbit with my phone (a Galaxy S4). All seems to be working, except changing my clock faces, setting an alarm, etc.

When I go to the app, click on the icon in the upper right>Inspire HR>Clock Faces>All Clocks and click on a new clock face, I just get a spinning circle forever. The same thing happens when I click on Apps>Alarms, or any of the apps.

I have tried resetting my Fitbit, restarting my phone, and turning my phone's Bluetooth on and off, but nothing seems to help. How do I get this to work? Thank you!

@mariharp Thanks for stopping by!

Let me help you with your Inspire HR not changing clock faces or alarms and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Lets try refreshing the link between your phone and your tracker by doing the following:

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, on an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  5. You can find troubleshooting instructions here.

Regarding your phone, the latest Fitbit app version is compatible with Android OS version 7 and above so take this into consideration when using your device.

Let me know how it goes.

Thank you! I tried your suggestions, and they didn't work. However, thank you for letting me know that I need Android OS version 7. My phone is obviously super old and only has version 5. Looks like this is another reason for me to get a new phone!
