Inspire HR Display Stopped Working

Got an Inspire HR for Christmas and it's been working great until today. The display will not come on. The Fitbit is vibrating when I get alerts but doesn't come on. I have a Google Pixel 3 and the Fitbit is charged.

Hi @Bebet_rusela and @kagkal. Welcome! It's good that the community is growing!

@Bebet_rusela, thanks for taking the time to try the steps suggested in this thread. Since your Inspire HR isn't working correctly, I've gone ahead and requested a case on your behalf so our Support team can give you a hand. They'll send you an email shortly, keep an eye on your inbox.

@kagkal, thanks for sharing that the screen won't swipe at all. Since your post didn't mention, may I know if you've tried the restart process suggested by our friend @twall-architect in this thread? If not, please give it a try and keep me posted with the outcome.

I'll be around.

My Fitbit has shut down twice in the past month. I let it both times to rest and the first time worked ok and restarted. Today, it shut down, and I took it off for 2 hours and the display appeared again, but with faded light, and I can't move it with my finger to other functions. It's stalled, though it continues to synchronize with the app. I tried to restart it with the charger but nothing changed.

Mine did that too and when I looked in Fitbit it said to put it on charge and hold the button in the side for 10 to 15 seconds. That worked for mine.

My Inspire HR stopped during the night. No sleep or heartbeat recorded. Then no morning steps. 😢 I tried the restart numerous times before finally getting the smiley face. Yay! I also rebooted my Moto smartphone while attempting to restart the Fitbit. I have no idea if that helped but Fitbit is working again. Take care, stay healthy.

I have an HR Inspire. It seems to go from one problem to another. My previous simple Fitbit worked fine with no problems. I will throw it in the garbage next time something else goes wrong! I got the display to work with your suggestion. Thanks

In my case the reboot solved the problem so didn't need any follow up.

Good luck to you.

Put it on the charge and hold the side bar for about 30 seconds and that should work.

I have done that already. I believe that is what my post had said. I have
actually tried that several times to no avail.

@LizzyFitbit

I have tried any and all options to restart my inspire HR and nothing has worked!   Is there something I am missing?  I really miss wearing my Fitbit, it's been almost 3 weeks without it
