Just purchased a Fitbit Inspire HR and have been using it for several days when all of a sudden today, it really drained my battery on my Samsung Note 9 smartphone. I also own a Fitbit Ionic which I use at the gym, but at least that particular model can be completely shut down when not in use but, unfortunately the Inspire HR has no way of completely shutting down so as to not drain the battery on my phone. Any suggestions as to how I could fix this issue with the Inspire HR draining my smartphone battery? Otherwise I may just have to return the device to the store.

Hi @SunsetRunner, I would suggest turning off the Bluetooth on your phone whenever possible. This could drain the battery on both the phone and Inspire HR.

Thanks for your response. My bluetooth is ALWAYS on on my smartphone and have had a Fitbit Ionic for almost a year now. Before purchasing the Fitbit Inspire HR, I would usually wear the Ionic constantly and never experienced the battery drain on my smartphone that happens when I now wear the Fitbit Inspire HR. So I'm not sure its because of the bluetooth--I think it's some setup or something in the new Inspire HR.
