Hi all! I have merged a few threads here to help keep the community tidy.
As many of you are aware, a recent firmware release (version 1.63.12) was pushed to a percentage of Inspire HR users. This release was intended to only affect some newly manufactured products and has since been rolled back.
Thankfully, this firmware version (1.63.12) has no discernible difference from the previous update (1.63.5) and your Inspire HR should continue to function as it normally would. This release does not contain any additional features or bug fixes It is also worth noting that this release is not related to Fitbit Premium in any way.
For those of you who have successfully updated to Firmware Version 1.63.12, my apologies for any confusion this might have caused and I appreciate the time and effort it took to update your device.
I also see a few of you have mentioned that some tiles are missing on your Inspire HR after updating. If you are missing tiles after the update, I recommend performing each of the steps detailed in this article to restart your tracker.
I will be sure to keep you posted with any additional information I may have. Feel free to let me know if you have any additional questions below. Thanks!

Could this issue be related to my battery issue that started today? I have charged my inspire HR fully twice today in less than 12 hours.

I wish all of the tiles except for my clock and step reminder tile would "disappear". Ugh. I hate having to swipe 7 times to see my step reminder status. It's bad enough that the screen isn't visible outside and then to have to swipe 7 times with the screen sometimes going black so I have to start all over again. The ONLY reason I'm wearing my Fitbit Inspire HR instead of my Apple Watch 4 is for the darn step reminders. (Apple really needs to add that because who cares if you stand for 1 minute every hour?)

Hi. I just bought a new Fitbit Inspire HR in the last week. It is not working properly. The heart rate and the sleep monitoring are not working. You mention an update, but how do I do that? It is interesting that I had another older Fitbit that was doing the same thing, and I bought the Inspire because I thought the old one had gone bad. There is something I need to do, but I am not sure what.
Thank you.

Is there any way to force an update?
I am on the 63.18 but I see there is a newer 84.5 version which is not coming up.
Also anyone know what the benefits of 84.5 is?

Totally agree. I have done this 3 times today and my Fitbit will not connect to my iPhone, let alone sync. Very disappointed with the help given.

Hi. I seem to be left behind as I’m still in the old hardware version .5 when there is a newer ver .12. How or where do I go to get this update? Thanks

Hi, the very first post (by Fitbit) says it was only pushed out to some users and that it's been rolled back. So you are on the most current released firmware version. 🙂

I think for that you need to enable background app refresh for Fitbit app.
I read somewhere if that is not enabled you won't get notifications

Just got 2 Fitbit Inspires for family members. Neither one can update. We’ve spent ALL DAY trying to make them work. Sending them back. These are total crap. I can’t wait to post far and wide on social media about what a nightmare this product is. Would NEVER recommend it to anyone. Such a total waste of time and money.

I had to turn Bluetooth off on my phone, restart the phone and Turn Bluetooth back on before it connected to my Inspire HR. I was able to update after that; be sure to fully charge your Fitbit device before performing an update.
