Hi,
Today I received a notification that a firmware update is available for my Inspire HR. I attempted to update the tracker via the app, ensuring that my phone and tracker were next to each other with the Fitbit app on. However, the update simply stops when the progress bar on my phone reaches just over half way (progress bar on tracker shows more like 25%), and I am again presented with the option to update.
I have tried this a few times now with the same results, on two different phones (iPhone 7 and iPhone SE 2020) both with the latest version of iOS. I have restarted the Fitbit app and the phones themselves to no avail.
I also attempted to restart my tracker by attaching to the charging cable and pressing and holding the button for 5 seconds. However, the smiley face icon never appears to confirm the restart, as suggested.
After the unsuccessful update, my tracker is still working and syncing normally, although I appear to have lost the option to turn on All-day Sync from my tracker settings on the app.
Any tips appreciated!

I had the same problem with my Inspire, tried to update at least 3 times with no luck. After half an hour on the phone with Fitbit Support, I rebooted my device--the reboot was supposed to incorporate the firmware update. However, after the reboot I still got the same message that the firmware needed updating, and it still didn't through. I give up.

There was an IOS app update earlier this evening, it didn’t make any difference. The firmware update still gets to about 25% on the progress bar and then an X in a circle pops up on the Fitbit display and the Fitbit reverts to its normal display.
