I've been reading the forums and my GPS settings are all good in my Samsung A53 which is running Android 14. I understand that after an update it's required to go into the exercises and set them to work with GPS. On the Inspire HR there is no option in the exercises, and if I go into the app>settings>exercise, if I click on eg Walk it only says 'GPS will not be turned on' with no option to toggle it.
Is this a me problem or an Inspire HR issue (I am thinking about upgrading to the Charge 6 but am wary of the recent changes..)? I can't believe it's a Samsung issue as it's running a more-than-sufficient level of Android.
Any advice (preferably with click by click instructions) very gratefully received.
thanks!

@Ldub1 I accidentally enter the link for the Inspire 2 manual. Here is the link for the Inspire HR manual. It turns out the path is the same. You can use the Exercise app with or without GPS for certain activities. You wrote that you set it on your phone, but you must make sure that the setting is correct on the Inspire HR. I found my old Inspire HR and charged the battery. Please swipe down on the screen until you get to the Settings app (it is the last one) and tap on it. The first option is Phone GPS and you can tap in ON or OFF. When I make sure it is ON, I see the connected GPS and phone icon in my Exercise app on my device.
What do you see when you tap on the Settings app on your Inspire HR?

Hello @Ldub1 and welcome to the Community. The path you described that says 'GPS will not be turned on' is the path for the SmartTrack exercises and they can't use GPS. I don't use an Inspire HR, but these are the instructions from the Inspire 2 manual:
This should make GPS available for any option that can use it.
