Inspire HR Screen Brightness in Sunlight

I have just purchase an Inspire HR to replace an old Surge. The screen is fine when inside but in the open air (sunshine) I cannot read the screen. 

 

How / where is the screen brightness or auto function so that the screen can be used outside?

Ugh. Hate it. I play a lot of tennis and cannot see the time. Why should I have to wear a watch as well!!
