Hello,
I recently bought an Inspire HR from Amazon as my old Alta HR finally gave out on me. Everything seems to be working fine except for the silent alarms. It works either intermittently or not at all, here are the details and what I have tried:
-Inspire HR
-Version 20001.63.12
-iPhone XR iOS 13.3
-Weekday alarm set for 5:45am
I have deleted and re-created the alarm 3 times now, this morning it did not go off at 5:45am as I had hoped. I removed the Inspire HR from my phone and re connected it, still does not work. Notifications such as texts and calls work, reminders to move and the daily goal being met works, however silents alarms still do not work. If I create a new alarm for a few minutes from now it will work, but will not repeat itself tomorrow if I set it up that way.
Does not seem to be a hardware issue as all other alerts work/vibrate, just silent alarms. Software issue? I've seen quite a few other posts about it without much help other than just reset/restart your device. Anyone else have this problem and a solution? Much appreciated!

Just in case anyone else is having this issue, here is what was suggested:
"In line with your issue, we would like to suggest that you check you time zone setting. If you time zone is not correct, it will affect the time of the device.
If you time zone is correct but the issue still persist, we would like to recommend a restart for your device. You may follow the steps below to do so:
We look forward to getting you back on track. Should you have any questions, please let us know."
My device is in the correct time zone, the issue isn't the alarm going off at the wrong time but going off completely. I will try the reset suggested above and report back.

So I've given it about a month since I first reported the issue, and it has only gotten worse. Last week (2-17 to 2-21) my silent alarm only went off on Monday (set to go off M-F) and this week (2-24 to 2-28) it didn't go off at all. Re-syncing, re-pairing sometimes will get it to work for a day or two at best, then it goes back to not working at all.
My FitBit is also not not recording my runs correctly, it maps out my GPS map but doesn't include any HR data, it creates 2 records of the run. This morning for example, it says I ran for 19 minutes at 12:01am (wrong) and burned 0 calories, under that it does show the actual run, but there is no GPS map like there should be with my miles times etc. It hasn't done this ever until this week.
Should I request a replacement? The silent alarms don't work and not the exercise tracking doesn't work. What gives? Any ideas that haven't already been suggested?

Dang! I was hoping you’d received better answers. I just barely got it as a replacement for my Charge 2 and I am very unhappy with a lot of things. Now I realize that basically none of the vibration alerts are strong enough for me on the InspireHR. And I certainly didn’t feel anything from the alarm or snooze this morning. I am considering asking for a refund/return and I’ll get something else. I believe the touch screen is also to blame here — it’s both too sensitive and not enough.

Results from the last 3 weeks:
-Alarms = 4/5, 3/5, 1/5
No rhyme or reason to it, still getting days that work and days that don't, still have not gotten a full week (M-F) with the silent alarm working each day. I've reset, re-synced, recreated alarms, multiple alarms. Nothing works. I'm convinced my FitBit is defective.
-Exercise = 0/5, 3/5, 5/5
For what ever reason this seems to be getting better, had a full week of my runs recording the GPS route, time splits, calories etc. However I don't trust it will continue, the alarm issue above tells me its just a matter of time before it stops working.
How do I request a replacement?

I'm also having unreliable silent alarm problems with my Inspire HR. This issue plus manual workout tracking problems (found on other forum boards) and freezing/unresponsive problems have led me to lose all faith in their product, troubleshooting, and support. They are claiming a replacement is not possible.

I'd advise getting a refund before your 45 days are up.

100%. Never buying one again. Customer support did nothing to help and obviously I'm not the only one with the issue. Terrible product, lesson learned.

My time zone is set correctly. The only time silent alarms work is right after restarting my Inspire HR. However, if I forget to do a restart before I go to bed, the silent alarms stop working the next morning.
The problem seems to appear whenever my phone is out of Bluetooth range of Inspire HR.
This seems like something a software update can fix easily.

Mine is not working either as usual , they either have a problem with duplicating the alarms, now they say the silent alarm is not working and they are working on it , horrible company, they made me miss an appointment this morning let's see how long this takes. as the first problem was never resolved w duplicate alarms that you can not delete now no alarm is working . They; should offer compensation for their faulty watches

Same issue as everyone else. Brand new Inspire 3. Going to be returning it since they can’t get it resolved. I only wear mine at night for smart wake sleep alarm.
