Inspire HR Sleep tracking not showing sleep stages

When I first used the app to track my sleep I had 4 nights where I got REM, light and deep sleep tracking in my app, I also got a score. Now I've only got awake, asleep and restless, with no score. I've changed the seeing to sensitive from normal bits it's still the same.

@alshafea Welcome! It's great to see you around!

Let me help you with your Sleep stages not being recorded and thank you for checking the sleep settings. You may not get sleep stages for the following reasons:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep?
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

Let me know how it goes.

I did a soft reset and it seems to have sorted it self out. I will update
you if it doesn't last.

alshafea,

Is your Inspire HR still tracking your sleep stages?  I have had this same problem and the reset didn't work for me.  Although, I think that wrist placement and band tightness might make a difference.  I am trying the same setting as last night to see if it works again.  I have had the following results - worked the first night, didn't work the second and third nights, and worked the fourth night.

Once I did a hard restart it was ok, I found that if it was below 50%
battery it wouldn't give sleep stages. I upgraded recently to the Fitbit
charge 3.l, so I haven't used my inspire in about a week or so.

My Inspire HR was at 46% battery life when I went to bed last night and I still got sleep stages.  So, I now have 2 nights with sleep stages using the same wrist placement/band tightness.

Is anyone else having problems with getting a Sleep Score on the Inspire HR since the app update on 3/2?  I have been posting on an Alta HR thread where others are having the problem as well as talking with Fitbit customer support.
