I really like my Fitbit Inspire HR, but there is a key feature that I think is missing. Is there an ability to take notes within the app? I use this device to attempt to optimize health via sleep, exercise, weight management tracking. It would be so helpful to just have a “Notes” option in each section of the app. Here are a couple examples.
Sleep: got a low score. Why? What happened last night that affected my sleep? The next day I got a great score. What worked for me? What should I try next time?
Exercise: lifted a bit less this session. Why? Dealing with muscle injury? Adjusted workout routine? What IS my workout routine? Adding them in the notes section would allow one to tie them to each data set.
Weight: lost 2 lbs last week but only 0.5 lb this week. Why the difference? What worked well last week. What should I try next week? Etc.
I would imagine this would not be a difficult item to add. We are already able to “Edit Details” for each entry, but none allow us to add our own notes. The above are just a couple examples of how this would really improve this device/app’s ability to help with fitness. For me, if I look back at the data taken but can’t make sense of what worked and what didn’t or what things may have contributed to success/failure then there isn’t much use for the data.
Could this ability be added to each entry type (sleep, exercise, weight mgmt, etc.)? Maybe just in the edit details section for each? It would be a huge help!
