Inspire HR active minutes disappearing

My active minutes on my fitbit went up to 46 however when I went to check this on the app it said 0 then it changed to 16 and the number on my fitbit then changed to 16 as well. Now the app keeps saying either 16 or 0 everytime I refresh it instead of 46. I’ve tried turning off bluetooth and turning it back on but looks like the minutes are gone. Didn’t have this issue yesterday before I updated the app to the latest version, is anyone else experiencing this?

There is an issue and it’s all related to updating the app! I didn’t update my iPad and it works just fine! It’s definitely the app download. Wish I wouldn’t have updated! At least it counts it accurately in the long run so far. Just a pain to look and see 55 min 0 min 55 min 0 min ugh

Hi there,
Thanks for taking the time to reply. I use an android and my wife syncs onto an IPad. Yes you are correct, her account has over 150 active minutes logged for today. My InspireHR was logging them during our 10 mile walk but they disappeared upon syncing.
Thanks again
Norm

Same here. Like many others have stated, only started after app update. Wish they allowed for a roll back to previous version. Just wanted to add my name to the list of frustrated users in hopes that this issue becomes a priority for the dev team.

Is there any update on this? I’m having the same issue with brand new fit bit.

Hi,

is there any update on a solution to this problem?

It’s affected me for almost a week and a half now, the active minutes show when first synced then quickly disappear, it’s very frustrating.

Thanks

Still having this problem too.
they somehow show up the next day. If I open the active minutes for that day the bar Is there but they don’t show on the today screen

I have the same issue and clearly a lot of us do so when is Fitbit going to address this issue? I have been emailing support since February 9th and I still don't have an answer as to why this is happening. My Fitbit is a little over a year old so this shouldn't be happening. Clearly there's a software issue that needs to be addressed ASAP.

True. Mine is only a year old. No problem until I downloaded update to app along with a lot of others. Drives me nuts. No answer yet and it’s been almost a month for me

I've had this issue too: I had over 115 active minutes today and it showed with the first sync, then after that it's been showing 0 active minutes, and fewer lost calories than when it first synced. I've noticed now that it's also not showing active minutes for precious days. Has there been any update on this @Fitbit ?

I contacted them using online chat some time ago and the guy would not say that there was a problem. I gave him my heart stats for a hilly hike, over 2 hours. Based on the Fitbit site 2x for cardio, 1x for fat burn , I should have has well over 150 active minutes, he said ‘No’ and the 33 mins shown on my account was correct. Now at least they know there is a problem and they’re working on it 🤞

Yes they are working on it they say! The only good thing is the next day when you look back your minutes were counted

Also having the same issue after downloading update. Started this past Tuesday. I’ve found if I delete the app, then reinstall, then have my Fitbit charging, while charging I disconnect Bluetooth, then reconnect, then sync while still charging the active minutes will stay and not reset to zero. However that is obviously not a long term solution so hopefully this gets fixed ASAP.

How much data did you lose by deleting and reinstalling app? Just that day? I’d like to try this

I didn’t lose any data. I just looked through my app to see if anything was missing but everything is all there going back over the 4 years that I’ve had the app. I assume all the data is stored somewhere since I have to log back in to the app after re installing.

I just deleted the app, turned the phone off and back on, reinstalled the app and all of my data was still there.  The active minute problem is not solved, however.  The minutes are there for yesterday, but today’s keeps disappearing

2/26/21, still having this problem with the current day Active Mounties disappearing.  I have reset the Fitbit, turned the phone off/on and deleted and reinstalled the app. No fix.
