Hello,
My 9 & 11 year old sons received Fitbit Inspires HR for Christmas.
I am very confused as to how to setup their accounts.
The kids account only seems to be for the Ace model.
If I try to make them a separate account that I can add to my account, I can't because they are not old enough.
We are all very frustrated at this being so complicated and not being able to use it right away.
Thank you for your assistance!!!

only the inspire are meant to be for kids. not any of the other trackers. this is why you can't set it up as kid accounts. It is working as it should be. They can each have their own individual accounts and you may need to monitor through their log in as you see fit.

my 9 year old is in the same boat....I tried to change my account over but had the same issue on his date of birth....
I hope they review this and come up with a solution ....
I changed my account to his name so I am able to see his sleep, activity and heart rate....

Yes, but, how do you set up their own accounts? I have tried everything I can try, and it keeps saying my 9 year old is inelegible to join and needs parental controls, even though I have set him up as a 13 year old. This is our first fitbit in our house.

Same issue here, clearly the staff selling this device don’t know the limitations!
No happy!
