The fitness app on my phone consistently which uses GPS consistently reads a greater distance than my Inspire on walks. Yesterday I walked 4.75 miles and the Fitbit had logged only 3.37 miles. Any thoughts?

Hi @pmcd1032, welcome to our Fitbit Community. Since you mentioned that your Inspire HR is not registering accurate distance on your Fitbit app, I'd like you to restart your Inspire HR as described in this help article. After this, make sure that your phone has the most recent Fitbit app version installed.

 

After this, check out this help page, which explains how your Fitbit device tracks GPS data. Finally, monitor your Inspire HR during the next activities and see if it registers the GPS data properly.

Greetings
I walked today and my fitbit registered 3.46 mi while my GPS app registered
4.91 mi. I followed the instructions you sent. Any other ideas?

This is still happening.  I walked 5 mi by my gps and the inspire shows 3.53.  Any suggestions on how to sync or change step range?
