Inspire HR band broke after 6 months

Just a warning, upgrade to a better band/strap. I had my Inspire HR less than 6 months, no hard usage, kept it clean, etc., and the band broke yesterday at some point on a walk, and now the Inspire is lost. This is out of scope for the warranty apparently. IF I ever buy another one, I'll be sure to buy a better band pronto.

@irishb13 Welcome! Thanks for being part of our Community! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Thank you for sharing your experience with your Inspire HR band. If you have any type of issue with the band please let our Support team know as soon as you notice this so they can help you and possible prevent what happened in this case. Still thank you for your feedback.

I'll be around.

Thanks for your response, but I did let the support team know and they were not interested in helping or prevention. Just told me it's out of scope. Apparently I'm supposed to buy a new Fitbit when this happens. This was my second Fitbit, and the first one's band was just as cheap, and I had replaced it as it was constantly coming undone. I hadn't found a replacement band yet that I liked the look or quality of yet for the Inspire HR.Apparently they know the quality of their bands is not good, and they are not covered under the warranty.
