Inspire HR battery charge fluctuates while charging

The device is not charging properly.  While plugged in the % increases and decreases.  Will not charge past 34% over a 24 hr  period.  I'm not able to reboot.

I've cleaned the contacts with rubbing alcohol.

Hi @SW898, welcome to our Fitbit Community. Regarding the charging issue that your Inspire HR has experienced, I appreciate the time spent trying to get it resolved before contacting our forums.

 

I'd like you to restart your Inspire HR as described in this help article. This article contains steps that you already tried but you can skip them and proceed with the rest.

 

Finally, charge your Fitbit device for 2-3 hours and see if the issue gets fixed.

Thank you for your email response.
None of the suggestions in the article work.
It's been plugged in for over three days and the battery has gone down to
1% from 14% when I plugged it in for this charging session.
I think it's the contacts but not because of dirt or debris.
