My fitbit HR which is approximately 1-2 yrs old started out needing to be charged about once a week and doing full sleep tracking. Now the little lite in it comes on randomly in the nite, which I think is causing it to need to be charged up every couple of days. It also does not seem to be regularly tracking my sleep.

Hi @darbs821, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I'd like to follow up and help you with your Inspire HR since you need to charge it every couple of days and it doesn't track your sleep properly.
Please try the tips that are listed in this help article in order to improve the battery life of your Fitbit device.
Regarding the sleep tracking issue, please restart your Inspire HR as described in this help page. After this, check out this page, which explains how your Fitbit device tracks your sleep.
Finally, monitor your Inspire HR and see if the battery doesn't drain fast and it tracks your sleep properly.
Keep me posted on the outcome.

You can turn the light function off and on. Hold down the side button when the time screen comes on scroll to the next screen that shows your battery level and time, on that screen is a light bulb, tap the light bulb to turn off and on. I turn mine off at night because it was constantly coming on, during the day it never came on with the slightest movement, in the morning I repeat the process and turn the light function back on so when I flick my wrist up the Fitbit device will show screens.
