My Inspire HR had been working fine for months (nearly a year) until Saturday. It had a full charge (96% or more) when I went to sleep late Friday night/early Saturday morning. On Saturday, I worked on our lawn and landscaping for more than 4 hours, which included mowing the lawn with a push mower. It was not damaged or bumped at any point. I like to check my steps count on busy days as I find it motivating, so I did just that after the work was complete. It should have registered a minimum of 20K steps so far for the day. Instead, I found it had died just after noon - before all the work. I can’t express the frustration of having lost all those steps as I use it for rewards. I have rebooted and charged it several times since then because the battery keeps draining at a very fast rate. I’m not sure why this is happening all of the sudden. Help please?

It’s good to see you in the community, @SleepyMuse.
Thanks for the details shared in your post and for already trying to resolve the issue. I am sorry to hear about the frustration this situation has caused. I recommend doing the following:
You can find our tips to maximize your Fitbit device's battery life in Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?
If you would like to manually log your exercise, please follow these steps: How do I add, edit, or delete Fitbit data and activities?
Hope this helps.

Thank you for the response. I’ve just logged out of the app and rebooted my phone as you suggested. It’s too early to tell if it will have an impact of the HR’s battery.
As for the other suggestion, all of the battery saving tricks were already in place. The drain started happening out of the blue this weekend since nothing had changed on my end. I did notice, a few weeks ago, the screen automatically lit up with much greater frequency, again, out of the blue. Still, that doesn’t explain the reason for the battery drain it is now experiencing. I also looked for the sensitivity setting to ensure it was still set to less sensitive; however, it doesn’t seem to be an available option anymore.
Unfortunately, the rewards program I use this for doesn’t recognize any manual records, which is why I’m devastated over the loss of Saturday’s steps. Only detected activities are accepted.
