Inspire HR battery draining ridiculously quick

Seems like since the new update my Inspire HR batter life does not work past a day or two. I am charging my device every single night. Yesterday morning (Saturday) when I woke up around 7:30 I had the exclamation mark so I charged it to 96% when I went back to lay down and wanted my Fitbit to track my sleep. Today (Sunday), around 3pm, I went to sync my data and had the exclamation mark again. I should add that as a teacher, the weekends are my slowest and least active days so its not like I was out running marathons the last two days. I actually spent most of the last two days resting as I have been sick and I am trying to kick this illness to the curb. My Fitbit is barely 7 months old and should not be losing charge this fast. Up until the most recent update I has getting almost 4 - 5 days between charges. Now I am barley getting 24 hours. Advise please? Do I need a new Fitbit?

@Prec0ci0us Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Let me help you with your Inspire HR battery draining quickly. Try cleaning the contacts using cotton swab with rubbing alcohol, then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's USB port (try different ports) or use an UL-certified USB adapter. After this, restart your device and see how it behaves. You can follow these instructions to help improve the battery life.

Let me know how it goes.

I have had the same issue since the update. I have restarted & cleaned my HR Inspire, this did not help. It will fully charge to 100% but won't last a full day before it is drained again.

I’ve been having the same issue. I’m on my feet during my work day and my inspire has been dying just after half my 8-12 hour shift! I’ve done all the same things. This is my 4th and most affordable fitbit device... I’ve struggled with this one the most. I guess I got what I paid for? Sad though. I was excited for such great features on a more petite and affordable device! Not sure what I’m going to do.
