The battery in my Inspire HR drains really fast. It was fully charged less than 24 hours ago and now it's down to 9%! I used to charge it once a week, perfect. I have done no changes in activities or functionality to the fitbit that should trigger this.

Here's my ME TOO reply.
I actually logged the charge times/percentages for a few days to send to support. Today, while sitting at my desk, it went from 100% to 9% in less than six hours.
I also realized that the Fitbit app has been running continuously in the background on my iOS phone (6+) for the same amount of time. I do not know if issues are related, but both the phone and the device are currently on the charger.

Ok now I’m having an issue with the battery... the battery has had a lasting charge the whole time of approx 5 days. It was wonderful! I was impressed. Then the other day,...I put it charge to charge for the week like I alway do, left it like 5 hrs... put it on, and in 8/10 hrs... end of day, I noticed the battery low indicator and I thought, what? What happened? So maybe I didn’t have it connected all the way when it was charging... but it showed the smily face so I thought it was done surely... that was just the beginning.. 3 days in a row it dies by end of day so I can’t wear it at night. The main reason I needed it was for steps, heart rate and sleep analysis. Do I have an old one? How do I tell what year it was produced. 😡
very inconvenient for good money
I did the recommended restart. Did not work, I’ve had the same face the whole time...
how to I update my firmware?

My Inspire HR has the same problem. I charge it to FULL and it dies within ONE HOUR.
This restricts my exercise programme and it is TOTALLY USELESS for monitoring my sleep.
Another faulty device- less than a year old, Fitbit Support?

Suddenly my fitbit, fully charged is fully drained in less than 8 hours. Nothing changed. I don't understand. It is fully updated. What is the solution?

Same here. My mom gave me this Fitbit inspire HR when she bought herself a new one. The battery was great at first! It would last days. Now it’s barely making it through the day. I do wear it 24/7 outside of the shower. Disappointing.

It seems to me that this product needs to be recalled. It's a known problem. Forums are full of people complaining. The battery which starts off good after a while, in my case after a year, doesn't hold its charge. Having followed all advice, it barely lasts half a day. Plus whoever designed the charger needs to go back to the drawing board. It's the fiddliest design. Trying to connect to the pins, plug in and not lose the connection ..insane! I'm giving up.on my HR Inspire.

Seems like the batteries for all electronics are like that these day. Must be so we will have to keep buying new items.

Hello. I had the same problem but when i brushed the battery connection pins with an old toothbrush and cleaned with a piece if lint free cotton cloth it started changing better. Maybe it charges better when its spotlessly clean?
