This morning my fitbit battery said it was at 19% even though it had been fully charged 2 days ago... after charging it was at 92% and now 16 hours later it's at 63%... this drain seems unusually fast.
This always seems to happen about 14 months after purchase, it's frustrating.

Hi @Wolthyme, it’s nice to see you again.
Thanks for the question regarding the inconvenience with your Inspire HR.
I would recommend you to check these steps in order to prevent the battery drain. Those steps have helped other users experiencing this difficulty.

The only applicable step here was to turn off screen wake, which I did at 11 am this morning when my watch was at 22%... battery was completely empty a couple hours later.

Charged it overnight, not even 2 hours later it's dead again.

I am having similar problems with my Inspire HR. I already have most features turned off as I don't use alarms, don't use call.or text notifications, don't use move alerts. Literally the only things that weren't turned off were screen wake and GPS. I have not turned both of those off, which took me ages to figure out how to do it, and turned my watch into a very expensive step counter. Will see if that impacts the battery life!!!!! Not impressed though. If all I wanted was a step counter I could have got one for about a tenner!!!!

Batteries will degrade over time, but 14 months does seem awfully short. My Inspire 1 just failed recently after 4 years, but it was rather sudden. Battery would go from 100 to 7% in about 90 minutes.

Hello @Lil_Miss_Mary_ @brutus001. It's nice to see you around in the community.
Thanks for the details regarding the inconvenience with your Inspire HR.
The battery can last up to 5 days; because battery life is affected by use and other settings, actual results may vary.
Before considering other options, please make sure that you've followed the steps provided in this article: Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?
In addition, try to perform a restart following the steps listed here, this has been useful for other users experiencing the same inconvenience.

My inspire HR also is losing charge within an hour surely I don’t have to shell out $ every 2 years to keep a Fitbit on my wrist

I concur…so frustrating but probably because Fitbit has so many versions now they aren’t supporting the older ones…not unlike another software company that makes !phones

Exactly. This is my second one. I ain't buying another. Would rather switch to a different brand. The only way I can get my battery ro last any longer is to literally disable every feature turning it into a very expensive pedometer.
What's the point in having a fitbit if the only way to make the battery last more than a day is to disable all the features that you bought it for. If all I wanted was a pedometer I could have got one of those for a lot less money.
